Funny how all these young D men are so impressive and our vets are garbage

It’s a younger, faster league.

These are the kids who were brought up for this type of game.

That’s not to say that all of them will make it, but there’s a definite changing of the guard taking place on defenses around the league.

Kids like this, and more talented then these kids, are the defensemen of 2020 or 2025.

DeAngelo evolved into Karlsson between periods.

Don’t sleep on this kid’s talent.

Said it 8 months ago and I’ve said it a dozen times since - ADA was not a “throw-in” in the Arizona trade. He was very much a key component.

The skill is there. It’s whether he can refine and focus his game.

If we're going to try and rebuild I want us to try and remain as competitive as possible with whatever we have to work with. games like that show we can do it with a less than stellar forward corps and a promising young blueline
