Demidov is a HAB
Seems to be taking some good steps this season.
He will get signed unless he forces his way to play with his brother.

Now, if he could only skate like his older brother.Seems to be taking some good steps this season.
I read an article from within the last month. He said he wants to sign in Montreal and he Hope's they want to sign him.He will get signed unless he forces his way to play with his brother.
It would reall be a risk for him to go on the open market, not sure everybody will be pressed to offer him a contract. I thought the same with Harris and Evans, they were good but maybe not enough to be considered by team who don't know them.He will get signed unless he forces his way to play with his brother.
Tuch spent lots of time working closely with Adam Nicholas last summer and he keeps popping by during the season checking on both he & HutsonBU’s play-by-play really emphasized Tuch taking strides this season & showing man strength out there.

21 y old playing with star talent Celebrini.Tuch putting up decent offensive numbers this year
Brent Gretzky had the genes too21 y old playing with star talent Celebrini.
I don't think he's more than a 4th liner at best if he makes it, but I was wrong before.
He has the genes for sure.
And hit like him tooNow, if he could only skate like his older brother.
Luke is much much meaner & physical than Alex will ever be.And hit like him too

During the broadcast the announcers mentioned that Tuch wanted to return as he wanted to win the championship and said he had an opportunity to sign. Was there any rumours that Montreal was going to sign him?
He was not good enough last season to even get a tryout, let alone an ELC. It's assumed he'll be signed after his season is done. He's still a longshot to even be an NHLer and probably needs 2-3 years of AHL seasoning on top of his four years in the NCAA. Even now the uptick in production is from playing with Celebrini. Hughes has strong ties to the NCAA and he's already team mates with Hutson so I don't think he'd push to sign in Buffalo where there's 20 guys ahead of him on the depth chart and a much clearer path to the NHL here where we have legitimately no forward prospects who are guaranteed to push for the NHL in the next couple years. Farrell destroyed the NCAA last year, as in more than double the prospect Tuch is, and is developing in the AHL while we have open spots everywhere in Montreal. Is he a UFA, if he waits until August? I wonder if he will wait it out to sign with Buffalo and play with his brother. Sabres are way too heavy on finesse guys and need someone who plays heavy, even as a bottom line guy.
good size... sign him up KentAnd hit like him too
I think he gets signed. Four years of NCAA development can't be understated.good size... sign him up Kent
I agree he gets signed and starts in Laval. He would be a great bottom 6 player in my opinion and has more talent than the Pezzetta's of the world.I think he gets signed. Four years of NCAA development can't be understated.
Brent Gretzky had the genes too
In fairness to Luke Tuch I made that comment more in a joking manner. He is big, skates well, plays a heavy game. I am cautiously optimistic.Well, Brent is part of the pair of brothers with the second most goals in NHL history.
