BU has the chance to be really good next year since they were so young this year, depending on if anyone leaves early as losing Farrance is going to be really tough and their goaltending was shaky with Freshman Commesso but should be a good year for them.

11 points in 16 games at NCAA level. That's good stats, it's very encouraging to see that. He got tools to become a pretty rare player in NHL. Like Josh Anderson. If he can become that... he made a steal there.

Always fun to see Habs prospects being big, talented and skating fairly well. And we did NOT went out of our way to pick him. Was clearly BPA at that spot.

Big boys that skate well and have some talent are solid usage of picks. Tuch has the potential to be a physical winger who helps you win in the trenches. One of our many grade B prospects that could turn into a grade A if he develops well.

Adding extra 2nd and 3rd rounders is the backbone of our pool strength. People going to complain we lack blue chip prospects but that's not the point. We have done well with these picks... Possible 2nd/3rd round hits since 2017: Brook, Romanov, Harris, Struble, Norlinder, Fairbrother, Tuch, Mysak, Kidney, Kapanen, Kostenko.

This is going to help out with depth and cap space advantage moving forward. It's also going to make our AHL team competitive which also helps development competition that raises the bar. Top of the line-up players are important but you also don't win or go on deep runs without good depth.

My favorite forward prospect with Sean Farrell. Can't wait to see both at NCAA level, that would make a better idea what potential they can show. If both can put PPG at NCAA level, that's a good number.

Good asset management (in this case, insightful drafting) provides management with greater flexibility and options. That type of flexibility and options can, at one spectrum, turn a franchise around and, at the other, maintain a strong franchise's viability.

Assist in his exhibition game, and 6 PIM. Anyone knows if those were bad "soft" penalties or rougher one?

still can't get much info on Tuch, sucks that he's out but wow is BU a mess right now, they lost to Merrimack last night, one of the worst teams in the NCAA in the past although you never really know what teams are going to be early in a season due to players leaving early or graduating, how good an incoming Freshman class will be. But BU was seen as a possible top team in the Hockey East and so far have lost to 2 not very good teams from last year and only won 2 of their first 5 games. Maybe having 2 head coaches was not a good idea.

Was excited about this guy after his draft+1, hopefully this is just due to injuries and he can bounce back next season.

did something happen to this guy ? 0 points in 9 games ... ?

yes he was injured after 3 games, was out for over a month and has struggled to produce since coming back. His team has struggled badly as well. In 18 games they have only won 6 games, they have scored 45 goals, which is 2.5 per game. Northeastern has also struggled to score goals with 46 in 18 games but the difference is they let in 25 all year, BU has let in 54.

In the off-season they brought in former NHL Jay Pandolfo as associate coach, so they technically have 2 head coaches and some BU fans think it's just not working as clearly the team has so far been way under performing (was seen as a likely top team in the Hockey East per the coaches pre season poll)

We'll see what happens, as things are going from bad to worse with him as it's got to be effecting him, after being 2nd on the team last year in goals and 3rd in points as a Freshman.
