I disagree and most teams aren't going to play 12 of 18 games at home then have 2 of 6 road games against playoff teams.

Is he progressing well, yes.

Is he playing like a Norris contender translated over a full season it's NO.
he could play 18/18 playoff games at home and 0 games against playoff teams and 70% xGoals share (already score and venue adjusted btw to account for home/away differences) and 2nd in EV points would still be incredible.

He also put belt 2 ass on the defending champs in the 19th and 20th game

Luke’s defensive game, which I predicted, came much faster than even I expected. Based on all three brothers ability to improve weaknesses rapidly, It wouldn’t surprise me is he starts scoring goals at a top level for defensmen as early as next year. If they give him PP1 role next year he will be a point per game or better.

Probably excellent value for a 25-26 Norris bet.
I wish I could bet it now. By the time the lines actually come out vegas will know ball and the value will be squeezed out of it and the risk of hamilton stealing PP time and votes will make it not worth it

He’s going to be better than Quinn someday methinks. Already significantly better than him at the same age.
Mfers should have learned their lesson after the first 2 hughes bros that the biggest, fastest one would also be a stud

I never used to think that was possible, but it's looking more and more realistic.
He's the most physically gifted of the 3 by far.

Best skater, biggest.

I don't want to get my hopes too high, and tbh if he plays as good as he has this season and doesn't play any better throughout his career I'd be ecstatic with how good he turned out. That's a 1D

But it's getting harder and harder to not get fully on the Luke vroom vroom train

Jack was the only player I wasn’t really ever high on (in the past) but I’ve definitely changed my stance on him simply because I’ve become a Hughes believer.

The way these guys have evolved their games and have gotten better every single year is honestly unfathomably impressive. Tocchet said something like this:

he might as well have been talking about the Hughes family. And Tocchet isn’t exactly the type of guy to handily make comments like these.

FR. They call Miller “Millsy” and Myers “Mysie”.

It’s always the same. Either a short version of the name or a Y type ending or both. Nazzy, Bert, Jovo, Danny, Hank, Burr, Kess. Might get lucky with a Hammer out of Hamhuis. The only one I remember not being a basic name change is Juice for Bieksa.

Not only Luke has improved a lot defensively this season, but Jack also has been pretty good and noticiably in the dzone. This may have something to do with Keefe getting the best out of them to be complete players.

Quinn’s the best D in the league the past 2 years and like a top 3-5 player so I think it’s a lot to say he’ll be better but close or on the same level is possible

I think that's highly debatable but we will never know as there isn't any Nov15- December 31st Norris award and playing just over 20 MPG even if their was I doubt that he is seriously considered top 10 for that period.

Just to note they have played 18 games since November 15 and only 6 road games of which 2 were against playoff teams.

So I'd argue that no he hasn't been the 2nd or 3rd best Dman since Nov 15th and wouldn't have him top 10 even if I think his progression has been really good.
I'd like to hear who you have above him.

Not even sure what you are saying here.

Vegas loves bets like this as Makar/Hughes are the front runners and guys like Dahlin are in the mix if they can stay healthy for a full season.

Nevermind guys like Morrisey who keep getting overlooked.

But maybe Hamilton gets injured and Luke gets PP TOI but let's wait for the rest of the season to play out.
