Value of: Lukas Reichel to NJ

He would be a good somewhat reclamation project but the Devils might be better off going down the veteran route unless he can be had for cheap. Most I would part with is a 3rd round pick , our prospect pool can't afford to move anything more.

You can sign him for nothing in a year and a half, or maybe even claim him off Waivers before then. You have to hide and bury him on your 4th line just for him to plausibly exist and provide some 4th line level offense, but he also doesn't PK or do other normal 4th line stuff good.

If the prospect of a winger that is the 12th highest scorer on the 28th highest scoring team excites you, he's there for a 2nd round pick. Once we start getting closer to an actual value, Hawks probably just ride out the contract and hope something comes together.

Samu Salminen

He plays on same team as Thompson (Hawks prospect) so Hawks likely have seen good amount of Salminen playing
if salminen is the only thing hawks fan want, there is not much hold up for the trade. salminen is looked at as missed pick by the devils prospect evaluators. but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I’d trade him for a second definitely, and probably for a 3rd. If he was going to show anything he should have done it by now.

Reichel wont bring much in a trade and I dont want to just dumb him, Forsling comes to mind as Reichel has shown glimpses of the talent he has same as Forsling did with Hawks.

Just my two cents

he has played better this year then last and is on a fairly solid streak of playing fast and hard. My guess is we keep him
