His name has been out there for a while. I have been critical of him in the past and still have significant concerns in terms of playoff hockey with him. I will say he held up decent with some big injuries around him this year. I still find it interesting how much his name is out there.

The way he kept producing in January after they lost kaprizov was impressive. Even if he crashes a bit after the 4 nations break, dealing him seems like a hard sell unless they are getting a massive haul.

Nylander has been useful, IMO. Marner and Matthews, though...

Yeah, Nylander has been the Leafs best player at playoff time the last couple years but Raymond was better.

Matthews and Marner just cant handle it when the intensity picks up. I live in an area where its a pretty even split of Leafs/Wings fans, and its nice to have some ammo now that in tight games Raymond and LArkin stepped up while the Leafs superstars maintained the status quo. Making the playoffs would help the wings outlook though for sure

Marner had the GWG in their first game and is playing his role as an elite PKer/shutdown forward. Matthews is nursing an injury. I got nothing for Nylander other than his linemates aren’t doing him any favors.

Oh well, GWG on 3 vs 3 hockey does not translate to anything at NHL playoffs. That's what the Leafs biggest problem is.

Marner is just watching the McDavid show on same line. Funny how irrelevant the guy could be and logging minuses (-2).
