They are going to be on Anze’s micro until there’s nothing left. So we know at least to not give a shit about this team for the foreseeable future
 
What did he say about free agents? He said they told Gavy and Kuz they want to talk and have not yet talked to Jeannot?

Didn't mention Lewis or Riitch LOL.
 
About what you'd expect. Though him saying he hasn't thought about a post Kopitar Kings team was a bit odd. Maybe he just wanted to get out of there.

Well, thought I'd get at least halfway thru the offseason but Luc just confirmed I'll be watching a different team next season.

All I took from that press conference is that we'll be running it back most likely with Bergevin as they view themselves as just a piece away.

RIP.

That's kind of what I was referring to. I doubt he'd hire a GM who is set on firing Hiller. But he wants to hire someone who will keep Hiller but he can say "has freedom to do what he wants."

The only comment he said that inspired any sort of hope was him talking about a lack of killer instinct on the team. Nothing was particularly interesting or inspiring.

He said that he and Nellie told Gavy and Kuzy that they want to talky talky ASAP.

It was interesting that he mentioned they didn't say anything to Jeannot.

I like Kuzmenko but this contract could be a real nightmare.

Hoven clarified on X that some players were there today for interviews and Jeannot was not there today with that group.
