Top on the night was Kakko, who finished at 93.75%.

From this game the actual only thing that I am worried about at all this series is Wilson trying to injure someone. He took several runs at Mika with relatively late hits that went uncalled and basically kept trying to p***y foot around starting stuff after every whistle. Threw some punches with his gloves on late in the game.

Wilson isn't gonna do shit to anyone who has any toughness in their game. Only thing he can do is pretend he'll rough up someone and try to pick on the smaller skill players

Laf's hit was not a penalty. That caps D tried to lean into him and got tossed. It sucks that he got hurt but hey, maybe move the puck instead of trying engage someone way stronger than you.

LOL if anyone thought the Rempe one was a penalty. Carlson whining about it 3 seconds after deflecting the puck into his own net was probably the highlight of this game for me.

Wilson OTOH got away with a few late hits, OV got away with a charge and they missed at least 3 high sticks on the Caps along the way.


Not to mention the Rangers got out PP'd in this game 5-2 despite controlling the whole f***ing thing. Caps fans can eat a butt.

I thought the rangers played a solid game. Only part of their game that disappointed me was the PP. They looked out of sync on it. If they can get it going the Caps don't have a chance.

I think he did surprise quite a few this year.

TBF he made a huge leap under Lavi this year, so it makes sense. But he's still young, so not wildly surprising.

The Caps are really bad and I hope we finish this series quickly, but if we make it through this round, the second is going to be a wildly different scenario.

They completely manhandled the Caps despite the refs slanting towards them.

Anyone who didn't enjoy that should just watch the Bruins Leafs. Going to be lots of goals and lack of defense in that series.

There's no issue with it and I'll gladly take 4 of these, but the fact that a team that plays a similar style to Iran in the World Cup made the playoffs is wild.
