Kase, Kampf and even Ritchie have helped this team become consistent in all areas.

All the talk over the past couple years of they will never win playing Run and Gun have subsided, the Core 4 just need to control the game and be around PPG and stay committed to playing Team hockey first and hopefully this will carry on into the playoffs.

i love the fact we are winning and out playing opponents in low event games. we have won more "playoff style" games this year than the past 2 years combined. this is going to help us alot come the post season i think. when we have to depend on offense to win, its hard to win when it dissappears...like in most playoff series.

Don't care about offense either. Seems that the team has adopted a very effective defense-first possession system that is working wonders, and could very well be much better in the playoffs.

Funny enough, this looks like the system that Babcock wanted in Toronto but he could never instill it.
