I'll book a trip to MTL to see them live, wear my Habs jersey every day for a week, and quit cigars for a year.

What about y'all? Gotta make our offerings to the hockey gods before the lottery.

What’s a 1st liner, Anderson’s a 23-27G big body w top end speed - unrealistic to expect more output
He missed a lot of opportunities. I think Hughes said he is the player in the NHL with most missed breakaways or something along the lines. Would need to check to have the correct quote but press conference are a pain to check compared to articles.

Anyway doesn’t matter because Hughes thinks he can get better, MSL thinks he can teach him… so we will see.

Oh and getting better would mean getting better, so he would need to top his career year. So, I don’t know, let’s say something along the lines of 30+g 30+a. Even without looking at the numbers, don’t worry, if Anderson gets better… we will know. lol

Bedard is not projected to be a McDavid type generational talent, an elite player yes but not generational
??

Some are even speculating that Michkov is the other generational talent of the draft.

So I’d like to know where you got the idea that Bedard isn’t one either.

Michkov will be out of the top 4. Habs will not draft him. Smith is 100% going top 4.

Habs pick will be between:

Benson
Leonard
Dvorsky
Yager

And i'm 100% fine with that. I know Michkov is the best after Bedard, but if Hughes and Gorton don't draft him, it's not because of his talent... so it's ok even I really want him so badly!
You’re couting Reinbacher out already?

How’s everyone holding up?

T-27.

As long as we agree that the Habs need an elite point producer as a priority and we agree that at where the Habs are picking there are other players with more upside in terms of point production potential than Dvorsky — What’s there to disagree over?
You said Dvorsky's a no draft. That's bonkers!

How many players do you really think project to be PPG players? I'm not sure if Leo Carlsson will ever be a PPG player but he's likely going top 5 next month. Multi-dimensional players with offense, 2-way play, grit and hockey IQ help win Cups.

It’s crazy how winning that lottery would change the Habs (or any other team) future.

It’s too early to tell if he will be a generational player, but everything points, at the minimum, to an elite franchise player.

It would be a shame to miss out on that, and I’d get anyone who would be disappointed with tomorrow’s results.

Last two nights in a row, I ran the lottery once and both night the Habs won on my first try. I’m too afraid to do it a third night in a row.

From Espn, Tsn and Sportsnet broadcast crew, every time the question “Who do you think should get Bedard?” They all answer Montreal.

It would truly be special to get a player that will change this team for the next 15 years, and finally a true superstar.
