Since it doesn't have a chance of happening, what's the difference? I wish I had Warren Buffett's money.

I got into some discussion about Kopitar's lack of production and how he wasn't worth the money he's earning, and used Draisaitl as an example of how Kopitar should be producing, yet some defensive fans suggested that the Oilers would make that trade in a heartbeat.

I was merely disputing their logic given the difference in age, salary and production. Can't go backwards on Kopitar now. Guess the big question mark next season is going to be which version of Kopitar are we going to see in 2017-18, the Handzus version or the top 5 center version?

I don't think the Oilers will be facing a team as bad as the Kings in the playoffs. This team is a pushover.

Maybe he isn't. Maybe he should be traded in the off season to kick start the rebuilding process.

It certainly makes sense to do so as this team isn't contending anytime soon.
