Stoll threw Trouba into him. We are lucky to get out of that without a penalty. Quick needs to control his temper for Christ's sake.

Ya, that was pretty dumb on Stoll.

Quick's gotta keep it under control. When he's on the edge he's awesome but if he loses it, we're in trouble.

The Kings aren't going to score if they don't/can't get to the net. Nolan can't have the best scoring chance. Kopitar has 1 even strength goal on the road this year.

I just watched that five times. "Threw" isn't accurate. Trouba stopped there on purpose, knew Stoll was there...still shouldn't have touched him but he flopped directly towards quick. Left his feet easy.

Andreoff looks pretty sharp IMO

I think Quick may hear from the league, not a suspension but certainly a fine. You can't butt-end someone like that in that particular part of the body.

You may be right. I just think Quick is sick of teams taking runs at him. If the refs don't do anything, he will.

Agree but I think he'll take it. I have zero problem with quick standing up for himself at this point since the refs are giving him the Brown treatment.

Kopitar is just an invisible player. Seriously makes me consider the old xenophobic euro floater stereotype. Gaborik too.

Stoll is an idiot.

Imo with kopi right now the kings are playing too defensive if that makes sense. The are playing so deep in their own zone the jets are able to get back in coverage to easily. How times are the kings crossing the redline 2 vs 4? Can't even carry the puck in right now.

Basically not sure what you expect kopi to do when he is constantly having 2 guys on him and the other king forward covered.

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't hear from the league either.

Goalies get away with a lot more than the players.

What is he supposed to do, keep skating into Quick?

The attacker is allowed to stop before the blue paint and the defender is certainly allowed to do what Stoll did, but locking up the stick is probably the smarter play than plowing a guy into your goaltender.

Exactly. He has been run into so much this season without the refs calling the other players. He's not going to sit back and take it, so this is the next step. It's not an "accident" the the Jest crashed into him twice in a matter of minutes.

AA looks decent for not having played in a long time.

I'm expecting a lot to go down in Quick's crease this period. The refs better keep a handle on it or it will get ugly.

No, zero problem with a guy stopping in front of the net and I agree that Stoll could have checked his stick instead but "threw" and "plowed" are totally the wrong words. Trouba knew what he was doing there. A light bump on the side by Stoll directs trouba thru the air towards quick? No. I didn't like it. THat was purposeful.

You can agree to disagree if you like but I'm telling you as a player that troubas sight lines and mannerisms were thought out there. To blow up like he didn't expect Stoll to bump him when he was looking directly at him was garbage.

"Having a different opinion" =\= being a homer either, let's erase that from our responses right now.

Works for me, I expect a big pushback/response

When you're fourth line is the only line to show any pulse, you start to question the top paid guys on this roster. This is very reminiscent of the 2013 Kopitar who vanished when his team needed him most.
