Imagine how good the Capitals could be if they didn't trade Forsberg, such a bad trade

With all due respect, that's a ridiculous statement.

If you are going to emphasize that they only have 13 regulation wins, then I get that. A team with only 13 wins in 40 games is in the cellar in the West, not in playoff contention.

They have thirteen wins period....That includes SO/OT over the last Forty games.. Look it up. It's why the Kings are not in a playoff spot and falling to the cellar.

He means we have more than 13 wins with some points extra. You only included the last 40 games.

Not saying it's an excuse, but since the beginning of the 2011-12 season the Kings have played 43 more games than the Caps. #justSayin

The Hawks have played What ? Five ? less games than the Kings over the last three years.

Not buying the tired/fatigue excuse. The Hawks have 64 points and Toews/Kane/Crawford/Keith look fine.

Thy don't play nearly as physical a game though. I don't expect Patrick Kane to ever be as tired as kopitar, do you?

They've also cycled through their auxiliary players quite a bit more than we have.

I'm starting to think that Sutter, Brown, and Stevens with their low key attitudes are NOT what this team needs. Where's the fire and brimstone in the hearts of this team? Not enough passion in dressing room?

True, but the Hawks play at a higher tempo than other teams, they also get hit...ALOT. Cause they have the puck almost the entire game.

So again, I don't buy fatigue, unless this core is just finally starting to show some age.

Toews/Kane are both only 26, But Keith looks fine as well.

If the kings kill this off they should consider pulling quick so they at least get a scoring chance.
