No one on the Kings has the speed of Pavelski, other than Gaborik and Carter. I wouldn't compare the Kings coaching to the Sharks but the Kings just seem a step slower than every team. I don't know if it's the 3 years in a row in which they played until June but like Sutter said, last season doesn't matter anymore. These guys need a shakeup, time to scratch Richards or trade someone.

It's got nothing to do with speed when 3 of your 4 guys are chasing someone other than the guy who's about to score.

Cares? I'm the biggest Doughty fan but cmon, did you see how lackadaisical he was on the PP that led to him getting a high sticking penalty? Was crawling to the puck. He's being played too many minutes and it's starting to show. Both Sharks goals were stupid Doughty penalties.

Pavelski's skating is average. Has nothing to do with his speed.

They are a step slower. Way too many players on this team that can't skate.
