This will be the third Oilers goalie we've face in the past week. It will be interesting to see how we play against him and if anything changes.

Worst GDT layout ever! JK, great job KingsKnight...looks fantastic!!!

A win tonight is required to get to the next must win game.

If the Kings can't beat Edmonton, it's time to let this season go.

Muzzwin.

Last year, they had enough guys going that they could drag Brown and Richards along for the ride. This year, can they drag Kopitar and Williams along on the nights when they seem out of it? If they can, it hasn't happened often enough.

Richard Bachman
Edmonton Oilers
Goalie Start

Bachman gets the nod against the Oilers.

Bachman allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Oilers win in Colorado on March 30th. He missed the last three games after there was a death in his family, but he will be back in tonight vs. the Kings. Bachman has won his last two games while stopping 58 of 59 shots (.983 SV%). Tonight he will take on an L.A team still fighting for a playoff spot—the Kings are 5-2-1 in their last eight games.

I'm actually more nervous for this game than last night, probably due to the fact of how the Kings wrecked the Oilers last Saturday. I don't anticipate them to lay on their backs and have the Kings walk all over them again.

I would also hope that Quick isn't played into the ground. He's been stellar and is the sole reason the team escaped with a point last night, but the guy should be saving his best performance for Thursday (and then Saturday).

Oy vey. Know how many goals the Kings have scored on Bachman so far? ONE. (Richards!)

Jones should get the start, but I don't know how Sutter can start Jones because the Kings literally need to win out, and Quick has to be the guy.

Yup, in a normal world jones would be the starter, but these are our playoffs, win or take your ball and go home.

Here is a cute picture of some pandas, to make me smile, and perhaps you as well.

(Sorry guys, last night was my fault, I forgot we were 2-0 in the most recent Panda Picture era).

Wait, what is that one panda doing to that other panda?
