We should have saved some goals from last week for tonight. We just crushed this team... we can do it again.

Oh wise one....oh storied poster....impart your words of ultimate wisdom and set me straight.
I watched the Jets game. They played harder than the Kings are. And if you would have watched the game you would see the same thing.

who is this?

Down 2-1 after 2 in a game that has the season on the line. This is pathetic. But, at the same time, a reflection of this year's LA Kings with their overall inconsistency.

It probably is true that all theses games in the past 3 years have fought up.

Most of the team is already on the golf course or surfing on the beach in their heads.

It would be really sad to go down like this...

Looks like the Kings will be joining the Sharks on the golf course.

If you can't get up against a bottom league team to keep your playoff hopes alive, then you don't deserve to make it. If by a miracle they make it, they'll get stomped on.

Yeah, at least they won't be the ones finishing us off.

Can we come back? Sure. Do I quit? no.

But even the most positive posters have to be concerned about the displayed effort. I'm not saying 'heart' because we know the team has it, I'm just worried they've hit a wall of exhaustion that shows in their decision making, skating, and ability to give and take hits. And the third period has been awful to them as of late.

It aint over yet.

It's close. But they're still in it.

Come on you ****ers! lol

The Kings are not even eliminated if they lose this game. They just lose the power to hold their own destiny.

They would need help to get in, if they drop this game, then win the next two.

There are too many major players on the team that have been off all year to worry about the moves that were or were not made at this point. If this is the Kopitar, as one example, the Kings were going to get this year, what could Lombardi do that would make a difference?

I think having even a competent third line center gets this team in the playoffs.

And the failures this past June will now result in the Kings having 10 years of cap penalties, that is in addition to not having the cap space to trade for a 3C that they desperately needed.

That was the worst move in DL's tenure as Kings GM and it's not even close, even if we miss the playoffs and Sekera walks it still doesn't compare.
