Amazing how after the first three games we were looking great and in fantastic position for the playoffs. Now 2 games later, we're going to fall 3 points behind instead of going three points up. Brutal.

This is like the 4th time they've gone on a winning streak to squeak into a playoff spot and when given a chance to solidify their position they go on a losing streak to drop out.

The refs have definitely favored Chicago tonight, but from the looks of it we'd be losing anyway.

I agree. Either 2-1 or tied.
How bad should it look for the NHL to televise this on NBC with this type of officiating? Chicago market is much bigger so no one will care.

In kopitars defense this happens every chicago game. They sell out to stop him with Hossa and toews. Did you see Kopi charging up the ice solo vs two Hawks dmen with one back checker in tow and a second flying back like his life depended on it? He needs his line mates to step up too

Maybe, but if they call Toews for boarding Brown, Chi doesn't score on the pp, and then theres the two handed chop Keith gave Toffoli when we had the pp. Its a 2 man adv.

Not to make excuses, but they're usually dreadful vs. Chicago in the regular season, particularly on the road.

I felt like the Kings best chance is catching Winnipeg - even moreso after tonight. Thank God they've got some 4 point games coming up. They've got to win them.

This schedule has been a lot of top teams and a lot of travel. It gets easier, but now they've got a ton of must-wins, and an almost guarantee the Sharks will have the chance to knock the Kings out of the playoffs

Voynov is more important to this team than most of you realize. He is not going anywhere.

Lewis should play 8 mins a game on the 4th line. King should only play bottom 6. Kopitar doesn't even have 20 goals. He shouldn't be praised as a ****in star. Williams is done. Richards can go **** himself. Muzzin is my least liked player. Forget the stupid corsi stats

For my well being I can't watch anymore games. They will be out by 3 pts with 6 games left by the end of tonight. If they miss the playoffs maybe Dean will add some scoring because we have all pathetic grinders no scorers.

This game just sums up how Chicago has played LA since Game 4 of the playoffs last year. Chicago basically has been unable to score at ES against any Kings line except for the fourth line, but they just destroy the fourth line so much they have been able to win 3 of the 5 and going on 4 of the 6 since then.

Sutter has only played 71/10/13 about 6 minutes tonight but still 2 goals against and multiple other scoring chances. The only solution is to just not play that line at all.

Both Vancouver & Calgary are winning on the road. Both those teams deserve to be in the top 8, not the Kings. Whether you like to hear it or not, it's a fact. The Kings haven't been good this year, simple as that. It's time to re-tool this team. I hate to say it but the re-tool could've easily happened last year if the Sharks had won one more game. Crazy to think.
