We won the ****ing Cup with Richards playing 10 minutes a night on the fourth line. He's totally irrelevant right now. Kopitar is still playing 20+ minutes a night in prime situations with out best wingers.

There's NO WAY you can hold Richards and Kopitar to the same accountability when analyzing the collapse this year.

I have to respectfully disagree on that. I think you can blame Richards more than Kopitar. True, he's played far fewer minutes, but that's because he can't shoulder as many minutes as successfully as Kopitar can. That's why they demoted him. So trying to bring their minutes into it isn't really a good way to look at it. The fact that Richards is totally irrelevant on the ice is exactly the point. He's not getting paid like someone who is totally irrelevant. He's getting an avg of 5.75 a year to Kopi's avg of 6.8 a year right? That's salary that could be devoted to someone who's contributing more to the teams success than Richards is. Richards is getting paid about 85% of what Kopitar is, but he's not contributing to the team's success anywhere near as much as 85% of what Kopitar is. I think it's fair to criticize them both. They've both struggled this season. But Richards is struggling to live up to his pay grade a lot more than Kopitar is this season. Hopefully they can both be at least a little better next season, even if Richards is on a different team.

Back on topic, Go Kings Go! We need at least 2 goals in 20 minutes.

Same here, there are times I really hate the internet and this is one of them. I think some people feel better about themselves when they complain about others. It's sickening.

You wouldn't think the Flames are on the verge of clinching a playoff spot for the first time in five years, that arena sounds somewhat dead. I certainly figured the crowd would be more boisterous.

Been watching the Kings for 20+ years, but nice try.

Yes, when you constantly post about Quick's save percentage and how he 'just needs to make a save', I will comment on it. Just like when KH24 posts a ludicrous post that outlines why the Kings in the mid-2000s had the best team in Kings history, I'll comment on that too.

No one is trying to bully you; certainly not me. I'm sorry I offended you or made you feel that way. Most of my posts are intended to be tongue in cheek.
