It's not easy playing forward right now on the Kings. My best analogy would be in football if you're constantly starting your possession inside the 5 yard line. The f never seem to receive the puck at midfield.

Yeah. It almost doesn't matter what DL does at the deadline; if doughty is playing like Phaneuf, kopitar like hanzal, and Carter like zajac, we are boned anyway.

No, because they managed to score a total of 3 goals over a 6 game stretch last year, all by Kopitar. Then, they actually outscored the Hawks in a playoff series, with 0 goals from Kopitar.
