All I am hoping for is, Kopitar and Carter to show up, get off those awful slumps they are both on.

Quick vs OTT
Jones vs MTL

?

I don't think it Matters, with the way the Kings are playing. Jones/Quick will do their job, can't say the same for the rest of the team.

Edit:

RON, thank you for the GDT's, much appreciated good sir.

Man that Buffalo game really helped the Kings' Corsi stats. Jumped from 11th in the league to 5th. Goals against is also trending upward (2nd behind the Preds) thanks to a more stabilized defense over the last few games and of course, Quick and Jones. Hopefully we'll see more scoring (or any at all ) against Ottawa.

Expect the Sens to come out strong and very emotional, game one of their new coach.

Quick vs OTT and Jones vs MTL makes sense. Jones shutout the Habs last year 6-0 at the Bell Center, first ever shutout by LA at Montreal.

Now this is a warning: if you bunch of ****** don't play better than you did against Buffalo and get shutout again I will be bringing my paper bag to the Bell Center. And that will not look very nice with a vintage LAK jersey.:baghead:

Kopitar has 1 more point on the road than Regehr. The last time he wasn't 1st on the team in road scoring was 06-07, when he was 4th. Obviously the year isn't over, and he wouldn't have that far to go to catch the top guys on the team, but he's only ahead of Nolan, Andreoff, and Van Der Gulik in road scoring by forwards.

2 combined goals on the road out of Kopitar and Carter this year? 5 combined points? Stoll and Clifford each have 6 points.

We'll see how it goes tonight.

My pleasure! :)

Some changes are coming, hopefully as soon as next week, to get rid of the bland, boring look...more graphics will be involved and hopefully a more pleasing look and feel.

LOL that's hilarious. Go up 6 spots in Corsi and down 3 spots in the league standings. Great stat there. LOL

Meh. Wake me up in February, to see whether the gutty stretch they'll need to string together is to get into a playoff spot, or try to track down a better position. This team has managed to kill my care for a while :)
