Kopitar is just trying to give the Kings a reason to offer him a low ball
contract so they can keep the team intact , unlike Towes/Kane :)

Weird, while I do think that Jones needs to play more games and give Quick some rest, seems strange to do this in a back to back. Did Sutter feel that Jones deserved better yesterday or did quick tweak something?
 
There has got to be some outside circumstances that we are not being told. Quick feeling a bit under the weather or something. Sutter said it himself, Quick has been our best player thus far.
 
Wait. What!?!? Jones in again? What happened? Did Quick overstuff himself on turkey? Hope it's just to give Jones more work.
 
No way is it possible to know why Sutter does what he does. Maybe after that last game, he's wanting to show Jones that he still has confidence in him.
 
Sutter is a straight shooter, and very open with both the media and discussion of injury & illness. I believe it 100%
 
Didn't Quick go out about this time last year? Team stepped up big time knowing Quick was not back there to save their bacon.

Maybe DS is trying to light that fire again.
 
I think we've probably got enough already to do a decent video compilation of McNabb hits. He's always good for at least one a game.
