Is it just me or has Brown looked pretty good these last 4 games? This helps out a lot if he's starting to feel healthier.

Looks like he's gained most of that weight that he lost back. He looks a little stronger on the puck.

Subban: how many giveaways tonight? Dunno for sure, but plenty when it counted.

Too bad the box score will show that G.

Literally no opponent has beaten Quick with a goal since the league started again after the Olympics. Two goals allowed was directly attributed to Stoll and Regehr!

As the game wore on he tried to get his offense going, but ended up making some really bad passes.

Last 10 players who has won the Norris Trophy. Seriously pretty much one doesn't belong maybe even two! I know it's still early in his career but lookin at Subbans name with these HOFer's is sort of a WTF moment. Don't get me wrong Subbans a nice player but I thought it was for the Best Defenseman award. :shakehead:

2010–11 Nicklas Lidstrom Detroit Red Wings
2011–12 Erik Karlsson Ottawa Senators - Weber should have won it!
2012–13 P. K. Subban Montreal Canadiens - Suter should have won it!

Doughty was so close to a Norris in 2009-2010. :(

Unless Drew scores a thousand points and gets a legit partner he's never gonna win the Norris. His offensive numbers will never be good enough and probably because of the system he plays in and plus he plays on the West coast.

If Keith wins the Norris this year, he's a lock for the HoF. Pretty crazy.

Duncan Keith being a HoF and having his sweater retired by the 'Hawks is almost guaranteed. Another ring would solidify it no matter what.

This game was pure domination by the Kings, even though the score didn't indicate it. Even our powerplay looked amazing. Can we play Montreal every game? Jeezuz.

That Olympic break maybe should come every year...all of the regular players got rested, all of our world class players came back more confident or at least more driven (except Voynov still looks regular).

Oh those of short memory. 2006 Olympics was the death of that squad (which albeit started the current rebuild) but the losses of Demitra and Frolov ended that core forever. I fully support NHLers at Olympics for NHL squads it can be a blessing...or a curse. Impossible to predict which is which.

Except if Trouba gets hurt in 2018. Then ban NHLers for life. Can't have the league's best defenseman at the time get hurt. And I hope I didn't jinx him now, as the US will need him then.

Don't know what you are insinuating but I can't wait for the next 3-10 years when Trouba and Doughty trade off Norris' back and forth ;)

Insinuating that you'll love NHL players in Olympics until Trouba gets hurt in one and Winnipeg's season is instantly ended. And yeah. Those two will be the top 2 D in the league very shortly. Drew already is #1 and I will always, ALWAYS argue that there is no defenseman in the game better. Trouba will be there shortly.

LOL... per Robert P on JFTC, Subban was 4th in Montreal defenseman in TOI last night. 4th!

Habs were +7 in ES shot attempts when Subban was on the ice. -22 without him.

#1 star for the game was Therrien.

Can you imagine if Doughty was #4 in TOI for Kings defenseman on a given night? Sutter would be shot.
