London Knights 2024-25 Season Thread, Part V

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I love it when opponents look to the refs for help. If ya gotta look for calls to help ya......Says alot about the mindset.
If ya feel ya need help, and will play it up to get it........your not confident enough to play thru things and make a difference based on skill, work ethic n heart. (yes I know LK players have also done it........dont like it)

Medvedev looked messy early but settled in, as did the team. (That Martone goal, he was lost)
Steelhead looked solid, have skill n could make noise.in the East.
Thought LK moved the puck real well at times but missed that last touch or they coulda put up 6+ in regulation.
They reacted well being down 2 early and playing a 1/3 of the first 22 min SH. Had a few physical shifts after Sim was out n it helped IMO.

They got challenged being behind early n Medvedev etal stepped up against a team playing well.

One of the most entertaining games of the year. Nice comeback win in OT. Great goal. The defensive turnovers, however, were not what we expect from the Knights. That has to be cleaned up before the playoffs. But a fun game to watch.

Looks like Rogers, as expected, won't be sending a crew to Erie tonight. And I doubt many Knights fans plan to cross the border to take in the game... just too costly. The promise of an immediate drop in food prices, and cheaper gas, wasn't kept. More than happy to watch the game at home on CHL app.

Brampton I think can fling the puck at the net from anywhere and hope for a goal but not a lot of playmaking ability in the offensive zone Horrible giveaways in there defensive zone They hung around after giving away there. 2 goal lead and played better as the game went on
