Way too much obstruction/interference allowed in hockey today to try and give less skilled teams a chance. Awful games like tonight are the result. League’s forget that their sport is entrainment and in this era many hockey games are not. Kudos to Peterborough for taking advantage but games like this are painful to watch.
Agree, both the CHL and NHL levels. For awhile, the leagues had gotten away from ignoring the obstruction and interference but it has crept into the game in the past few years. I want to see fast, skilled players playing rough and tough but without the slower players holding, hooking etc. The game is great when played tough at a high speed. Not sure why this has devolved in this manner

This team needs to look at that Woolley goal and recognize that not every goal needs to be a work of art…Woolley skates down the wing and rips a hard shot and is rewarded. They are trying to do way to much and the amount of prime scoring chances that are passed up to try and make a high difficulty pass is frustrating. Simplify the game and get more shots to the net. We are struggling to score right now and need to simplify.
I have Sweet Georgia Brown queued up on my phone and play it when I see the Knights go into their Harlem Globetrotters routine...my seat mates just roll their eyes.

London goes 13-7 in their final 20, and Windsor goes 17-2 in their final 19 games.
London, Windsor tied with 105 points. (No point for OT/SO loss considered.)

What's the likelihood?
0. Londons not losing 7 times in the remaining 20 games. Maybe 3-4 would be my guess

Rye is an excellent goalie. Fantastic movement. I am very happy the streak is over because now they can focus on just making the right play instead of looking for Cowan with the streak in mind. It was getting ridiculous. Sim is this years mvp, heart and soul player. Speaking of heart and soul….why would Dickinson have his gloves glued on at the end of the game. Two guys wanted to fight him….hes come nowhere near close to a fight, and after the scrum he goes straight to the dressing room unassisted. (Refs didn’t send him there). I think for the physicality of his game that desperately needs work, he needs to see that getting punched in the head really isn’t that bad. It’s still part of the game and being 6’4 200+ pounds….the best dmen play with an edge. Unless their game is that of a small skilled player which he is not. Yes he’s got a great shot, but his game would go up a notch with some physicality. Speaking of which anyone see 13 try and throw a body check at mid ice? He braced himself and bounced off the Pete’s player…it was very funny. Physicality isn’t for everyone wet or and that’s ok, 13 has a great shot and if he shot as much as Gazizov did last year, he wouldn’t catch so much flack.
Anyone else think the Pete’s goal should have counted? Looked like a goal or a penalty on Elliott to me.

I 100% think that Pete’s goal should have counted, the rule book reads it should have counted.
No penalty on Elliott though, that’s a play a goalie makes 100 times a game, just a fluke the net came off. He didn’t do it on purpose.
