Sloan and Doyle do a good job. They are not “homer’s” and they don’t scream like a lot of OHL announcers.

Sloan was messing up names all night. Doyle doesn’t have much to talk about except how many points each player has while the others are away at WJC.

It’s time for a change on the broadcast. The guy that covered a few games ago was a breath of fresh air. They said Sloan was “on assignment” but he was probably too drunk to show up to work.

Bolton played his best game last night. When he stays between the lines he’s an effective 4th line grinder.

I feel like several are at 3.

I believe this is the correct, up to date counts;

Boulton - 4, not sure how he was not suspended. They somehow didn’t count 1, but I don’t see him being instigated upon.

Sim - 4, but 1 instigated upon. So 3 counting

Aboflan - 3 after last night

Wooley - 3 fights, but 2 were instigated upon. So 1 counting.

Van Bommel - 3

Cowan - 2, but 1 instigated upon.

Spencer - 1

Brzustewicz - 1

Not sure Halttunen is the right winger for Cowan/Barkey. Doesn’t play at their pace. I’d like to see Montgomery on line 1, barring any other moves.

All announcers in the O are Homer's, hard not to be but ya they are far better than alot of the " over the top" ones around the league. Guelph, Kitchener and Erie guys need to dial it back for sure but it is still better than nothing at all.

Our regular announcers in Kingston are far from homers. They actively cheer for the visiting team sometimes lol. I can see why fans of visiting teams like them so much but as a Fronts fan who watches most of the games, they're insufferable. Can't even get our own pronunciations right! Lol

I believe after some discussion on here a week or so ago, it was determined we for sure have 1 card left as Bidgood hasn’t used a card. He is being listed on the official sheets as an FA player (Farm Affiliate).

Barkey was interviewed on Friday. Something like: “I like our team, I think we are solid. If Mark and Dale make a move I know it will be the right one but if they don’t that’s the right decision too”.

I for sure think they have a spot open and they are kicking tires on a top 6 forward. If they can’t get it done they are gtg either way.

It’ll be nice when the deadline passes. Regardless of what happens, I like the players on this team and hope to see improvements individually and as a team going forward. That’s what watching junior hockey is all about. Winning another championship would be nice but there are no guarantees. Cheers.
