Let’s see how Fimis looks, if he is anything like his brother I think we are done. The consensus was a solid top 4 right hand shot D….. soooooo????

Agreed and he will want lots of ice. Does he really bump Brz down though?

Maybe

Dickinson - Fimis
Woolley-Bonk
Jenken-Brzustewicz

Perhaps an LHD needed

Maybe Konnor Smith from OS (would have to trade an OA, also has had ample opportunity major injury)

Andonovski from Kit (would require a big package)

Marrelli (OTT)

Ride (NB)

Fisher (SAR) highly doubt they would even entertain moving him

Gibson(SSM RHD, but absolutely unreal would be an AWESOME partner for Dickinson)

Allen (Gue - RHD, also a good option for top pair D)

Currently I’m curious how our D will handle a team like Windsor who have absolutely monster sized forwards.

Brz is in your top 4 for now unless another trade happens. If anything if Fimis can play in the top 4 ( big learning curve coming to a faster and stronger league) Wooley gets dropped down. Brz has been playing with Dickinson as a partner all season so don't see that changing as of now.

Hunters always start a new player at the top and give them every opportunity till they settle to their level of success. With the boys gone to WJC Fimis starts on the top pairing with Brzustewicz. Where he ends up in the new year is up to him.

Montgomery came in with a second/third line projection but has played his way as our top line guy through the next month.

The Knights are by definition a meritocracy, if Fimis is better in the bottom pairing they will not hesitate to improve the top 4 at the deadline but it’s not about what the Knights will do it’s about how the whole d core performs over the next 10 games.
