Surprised Misa doesn't get an invite, leading the OHL in goals and points. With some omissions such as:
Colby Barlow
Beckett Sennecke
Michael Misa
Michael Hage
Nick Lardis
This almost guarantees that Barkey will make Team Canada. Count on all 4 Knights players being gone for December.
Yeah that’s an interesting one for sure. Misa deserves to be at camp.Surprised Misa doesn't get an invite, leading the OHL in goals and points.
The kid deserves some PT. Hard worker. I just see Read produces better. Probably a better long term fit.For sure trade him for similar picks we got for Arrowsmith
He is only 17 and this is primarily a 19 year old tournament. I get that, but from my perspective, you bring him to camp with thoughts of at minimum giving him experience for next year and who knows, maybe he blows the wheels off the camp and makes the team.Yeah that’s an interesting one for sure. From what I am reading, they should play this week and then leave for camp, which looks to start Monday. They have games scheduled against U-Sports Dec. 12th/13th. Benefit this year, they are in Ontario, so don't need as much travel time.Questions about the WJC guys. Are they all gone now?
Or can they play the next two games?
Where does Saginaw sit? They have been good in the dot last year and this year.Knights faceoff% after this weekend is at 50.4%. 11th in the league
Spits had 5 play in 2010Possibly 4 Knights on Team Canada! I don't know if it's ever had that many represented from one team.
I was looking at 2005 d-men on teams that will likely not go for it this year, and Finn Harding stood out as a possible trade target. My first choice would be Gibson, but he'd come with a heftier price tag. Cam Allen?
Ah yes! That's the year I cheered for the US. Carlson with the OT winner.Spits had 5 play in 2010
Agreed, me and @nelli27 are on the same page. Love Andrew Gibson’s defensive game is amongst the best in the OHL. Cam Allen’s offensive prowess is great and he has elite skating, I think is more of a two way guy. Reminds me a bit of Isaiah George (more offensive, but less defensively sound). Didn’t know Finn Harding could be on the market with Brampton competing but that would be a cheaper add.Possibly 4 Knights on Team Canada! There could very well be other good options out there that I'm simply unaware of...hoping others might be able to chime in here.Agreed, me and @nelli27 are on the same page. But Nelli27 has my first two options in Gibson and Allen. Almost assuredly need a right handed defenseman. No offense to Brz, but pushing him to a third pairing would be an awesome and a luxury. Sometimes impressed with his defensive play like taking the man out of the play, but then drop passes behind his net right to the 67’s player and they score only makes me want a steadier defensive guy in his spot in the Top 4 more.
But hey kid, light it up while you got top 4 minutes Brz! Make them scouts notice ya!
Aboflan aswellWJC should be:
Canada.
Cowan
Bonk
Dickinson
Barkey
Suomi:
Halttunen
Nurmi
Which leaves:
Van Gorp O’Reilly Sim
Montgomery Nichol Julien
Van Bommel Read Hawery
Boulton/Bidgood
Woolley Brzustewicz
Jenken Fagan
Spencer Mitchell
Medvedev Elliot
That roster should keep winning, they have played the majority of the last three games just fine.
