So you're looking for a big splash as usual.
You might get different takes from different members of the Attack board but Petrovski would be one of the few players I'd be okay going to the Knights and probably doesn't cost an arm and a leg, other than he's likely back as an overager.

I think offensively he's blocking opportunities for guys lower down the lineup.

Have a new account since my other one got locked out.

Don’t understand the Crane/Arrowsmith comparison. Statistically, player type, route through the OHL thus far is not comparable.

This could be a very good deal for the IceDogs if Arrowsmith develops the way he should and if London picks up the education package. Also good for London to get some picks back.

Lots of variables that are not seen on the surface. I’m not one to judge trades as instant w/l like a lot of fans do. Of course you will have the demographic of fans that think every trade with London is a rip off but fail to dig deeper or use critical thinking skills. But I digress.

Go Knights. Peace.

Kind of a weird stat but there’s only 2 teams left in the OHL to not receive a bench minor- Barrie and you guys.

Pretty cool you don’t have one while being the second most penalized team in the league (Sag has 4 more pims)

There's an obvious need for at least on more defenceman, if not two. With all of Bonk/Dickinson/Barkey/Cowan back this season, there's no reason not to trade a few more younger players--excluding Hawrey because he likely won't waive no-trade privileges--for some defensive depth. Jenken has been fairly good, but on a championship team, you would probably prefer for him to be a number 7 as a fail-safe for injury rather than an everyday player.

Trading some volume of picks and young players (Fagan/Van Bommell/Bidgood/Gerber) for a LHD+RHD to become either a second or third defence pairing. Something like Petrovski+Jenken or Petrovski+Allen would be a sizeable upgrade on Jenken+Fagan/Spencer.

Yeah, it’s win-now mode for London this year. Whether Hunters are aggressive or not is anyone’s guess.

Gerber and Bidgood can’t have much value being 17 in B. Can’t see Fagan or Van B garnering much in a deal either. Any acquisition will likely be pick-centred. Guelph needs picks!

Next year you sell and full court press on Cover. Regroup for 26/27 with Hawery, Brzustewicz, Medvedev.

Commenting on the CHL - US Prospects game last night.
IMO it was a little embarrassing to watch. The CHL team came out aggressive and hitting right off the bat while the US team looked like they were playing a scrimmage game.
There was a load of talent on both sides but if that is the best the USNTD has to offer then they are in trouble. One team has played together all season while the other was thrown together with a few day's practice but the CHL totally dominated.
Will Moore was interviewed by TSN prior to the game and said that the USHL is a 'Much faster game with more urgency'. If the style the USNTD played last night is classified ad 'fast and urgent' then they are miles behind the CHL. If I were to describe the US teams game last night I would say it was 'Tentative and Soft'.
Let's see what tonight's game holds, but if it's more of the same, maybe some of these USNTD players will open their eyes and realize that the best thing for their development is the CHL and not the USHL.

And this is what I mentioned earlier in the year. The Knights got as close to a Memorial Cup win as you could possibly get last year. They were extremely fortunate to get the top 5 back. Sacrifice some picks and players and get the stud top 4 dman to help get them over the top.
Did they need Girardi in '05? Graves in '16? Maybe, maybe not but they were both instrumental in getting them the big prize. That is what is needed this year. Next year will be a rebuild/retool anyways.

I agree; that's why Moore should jump in the car with Aitcheson and head to Barrie after tonights tilt in Oshawa. :naughty:

Not for $50 a pop. No thanks
Agreed. $50+ a ticket is a little rich to watch what was essentially a Jr B team vs an All Star team.
The first and probably last time we will see this format.
I thought that this game would at least be competitive but I was wrong. Not even close. USNDT totally out matched.
Hopefully tonight is different.
Would like to see the Canadian Born prospects vs American and International Prospects no matter where they are currently playing.

Matthew Jenken has been pretty impactful for the Petes this year in a top 4 role. I think he would be a good fit with the Knights imo. Shouldn’t cost a ton and plays a big physical game and has been engaged a lot more offensively

I was sitting 6 rows behind them. There were so few fans there that only 1 little girl came up and got her picture with McKinnon. Nobody else went near them the whole night.

Remember when players were being suspended for calling someone a Euro?
