I think your mind is pretty much made up anyway

Nah it's always open, just sometimes slightly ajar and other times wide open. Just not going to a FB page you say has blind homerism and conspiracy theorists as the majority for insight. Call me crazy.

I'll try n clear it up here for the masses as it seems I have not communicated it properly or people are connecting dots I didn't lay out there.

I'm not defending any1s actions. Do the crime, do the time.
Would I dress Bolton every game (he isn't suspended lol) Nope.
Hunter figures he should be in the rotation for now. He has his reasons and is a kinda successful coach.
A fan of cheap shots, Nope I am not.
Didn't see the slash, no context for me.
Do I think some others in the rotation possess more skill. Yup.
Has his presence hurt the teams record? I'll guess no, unless it was a game early and without a full lineup.
Just like last year this team is at or on top of the league in PIMs per game. It hasn't hurt them in the OHL ao far.
Do I like the team leading the league in that stat. Nope. I think it's playing with fore but it has worked mire than not. Also I can't argue a league title n a 14 game heater this year either.

Again for the masses I am not defending cheap shots lol

There's no denying that.

He's a huge part of this team. Without him they may be tied with Peterboro.

I wonder how many teams have called about Carter so far ?

I get it. But without George all three are different games.

The sad thing is he only got a shift because they were up 4 later in the 3rd. The guy doesn't get shifts in close games. This is all that's needed to be known about his purpose.

Didn't play a shift in the 3rd against the Rangers, Cowan scores the empty netter, who gets the tap for the last 30s? It's a sideshow.

Most teams 4th lines don't see many shifts in 2nd/3rd periods in close games. A few here n there. Its kinda a league wide thing. Few teams give the 4th line a reg shift in tight situations as the game progresses.

If any1 has time n is a stats person I'd love to see a breakdown of all teams 11/12 Fs PT in close games (1 or 2 goal differential) after the midway mark of a game. Otherwise it's just speculation.
