He is a piece of work. Didn't see but that stuff will get old real fast once he steps up a level.
Always found the way he plays ( and others who constantly do the same ) embarrassing. It's one thing to sell a call occasionally but..........,
It's weak to look to the refs for help all the time. Esp when your faking it. Shows a lack of confidence IMO.

True - one thing to play tough and another to take stupid penalties. With all the good young talent available not sure Boulton has a place on the team.

Only close because of Boulton's 5 min. major leading to 3 (5 on 3) PP goals late in the game.
I always thought the Saginaw goalie was oakerated.
Barkey, Cowan rested in that 3rd period...Hunter likes to do that with a 3 in 3 whenever possible.
I'm assuming Halttunen won't be suspended. Is that right?

Dale is completely stubborn in certain areas (the love for a checking line instead of pushing the pace on the other team, the need for “agitators).”

Great to see guys like Montgomery, Nurmi, Peanut, Barkey get goals tonight after all being a bit snake bitten. Brz continues to improve each game imo. I could see him moving up the draft rankings the rest of the season.

True. I don’t hate a checking line either but the guy is off the rails this season. Put Aboflan in his place when you want some grit on the 4th line.

Maybe, and others agree with you, but I'm not one of them. Having him as a 12-14 F on a squad doesn't hurt the team. If out, he can be replaced easy.
Just like his bro, he pays the toll for how he plays and rightfully so, but Sawyer didn't hurt the team last year in spite of claims he did (in fact players said he helped - and they won the OHL title)
Baby Bolts same thing imo. If he crosses the line he should get the hammer, but he isn't hurting the team now.

I meant more along the lines of a “shutdown” line. He’s always worried about trying to stop the other team’s best player - it kind of handcuffs the team into an automatic defensive game instead of letting your skill players force their will on the other team. Tonight notwithstanding. But it sure as heck didn’t do them any good last June.
