Maybe, in the lockout year, there would have been a team of couch potatoes sporting beer bellies by Spring when the Knights were at their very best ;)

IMO, the '05 Knights probably get crushed by a bad NHL team in any serious game. Boys & men generally and even the best ever OHL goaltending duo, Coleman & Dennis, were not NHL caliber players.
Ultimately Men vs Boys in the literal and factual sence.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but the way the game was called in 2005 vs. now is also completely different. Way more fights and way more "letting the kids play". You don't see many Richards vs Perry centre ice brawls anymore. That has to account for something.
That was amazing....perry getting called on by Richard's and was like "really"...."ok" they lock up and Perry lands a big shot that knocks Richard's down...one of my favourite moments. Richard's got right back up and they carried on but Perry won that fight due to the knockdown and it was a major shot to Richard's ego. Loved every second of that.

Barkey overplays the puck more than anyone it’s crazy. He has an open net tonight and tries a no look back pass to the point (nobody there). He needs to simplify his game.

The game is to fast for Fagan he has terrible vision that penalty happend because his poor defensive play
He made the best play he’s ever made with the spin move 7 seconds before, and then tried to get too fancy with it….and what you said is exactly accurate.

At this point that is a spot that we can upgrade right now , but I still think Fagen can be a damn good D in this league. Just needs some time

On my high school baseball team I played with a guy named Freeman Nelson. Super nice guy and a heck of a ballplayer.. except when it was bases loaded and two outs. In that situation he would strike out every time.

Easton Cowan on a breakaway is the London Knights Freeman Nelson

He looks like he is nursing a hangover from the memorial cup, hopefully we see the magic touch soon.

Edit: not saying he’s playing poorly, he is excellent, just know there is another level.

Pretty good defensive effort.
O’Reilly on wing for some shifts the last two games is interesting.
Parsons was excellent.
Kitchener telecast is very good. Even provided an injury update on Brzustewicz mid period. Enjoyable telecast.
Knights will need more D depth to get through the season.

One of the better broadcasts in the OHL
