6-2 win over Barrie

Tuff coming against lower calibre, a team they easily beat in their last meeting, with their top players coming back into the lineup.
This team still has discipline problems, it takes them out of their game and breaks up momentum, it's okay against bottom teams but when they play Kitchener or Saginaw that'll be a referent story in playoffs

Doyle is an absolute idiot. You do not say shutout during a game. Not 5min later Colts score.

These 2 are brutal.
What the hell, why blaming Doyle? He's not coasting on the ice with a pair of skates on his feet, waving a stick at players going by at full speed. Superstitious in hockey is a myth, it only works in your mind not on the ice

6-2 Knights. That's 8 in a row!
Jelsma showcasing his talent for Mark Hunter? That would be a good addition.
Who knew that there's a causal connection between Doyle uttering the word "shutout" and Simpson letting in a goal? I never thought to attribute such power to Doyle.
Any updates on Gazizov's injury?

I’m not big on all the trade speculation, but with deadline approaching and this game fresh on mind…. Can’t help but wonder if Jelsma could be an under the radar type addition that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

He is a vet and that team is a dumpster fire.

Edit; nelli beat me to it. Good to see others noticed Jelsma, maybe not that under the radar.

Nichol was everywhere tonight. He had a great game.

Like I said before that kids game is growing on me.
Nicholl and Van Gorp are all over the puck. Love it. They’re really asserting themselves as not only regulars, but players that can play in the top 9 and PK. Still think an upgrade to the forwards is in order but standing pat could be defended too. I don’t see how you don’t sign Van Gorp and Woolley for the rest of the season. Pleased with the development of the young folks this year.

Is he a family member of yours because you seem to be the only person on here who likes him and Sloan.

You watch any other hockey and if a goalie is pitching a SO the announcers never say the world and some even say they can’t mention the word. It’s one of those unwritten rules in hockey.

I’ve noticed both have started mispronouncing players names almost as much as Cherry. Maybe it’s time to hang up the headsets and pass the baton onto some younger guys for Knights home games. ….or lay off the booze.

Shouldn't our comments be more related to the game of hockey itself and less on the psychological mind of its fans worrying about what words being used by commentators on television?

Fun fact. Every time Doyle says the word “ice” it snows at the Arctic Circle.
