London Knights 2023-24 Season Thread (Part 5)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

Not sure who holds the Erie/Guelph tie breaker, but it'll be interesting to see if Erie pulls their goalie in overtime.

Edit: didn't need to. Overtime win for Erie. Guelph needs a point tomorrow to secure 5th.

This one website has Guelph ahead even though they’re tied. Would it come down to season series and Guelph has the edge? If so, then it’s a nothing game for Guelph and they may rest players.

Edit: Erie won the season series 4-2 so if all else is equal and that’s the tie breaker then Erie gets 5th. So Guelph has something to play for 100%

Looks sorted by win %. Pretty sure Erie holds the tiebreak. Guelph needs a point.

Erie has the tiebreaker over Guelph, tomorrow's game will be meaningful for both teams, expect London to come out flying on all cylinders

When Guelph opens up, their defence become vulnerable

We talk so much here in our pages of getting in from the back door (ex à la Windsor's last Cup), well today if London is to get top seed, why wait for Saginaw's game result up in the Soo.. Go Knights Go !!!

Huge difference between going out in the first or second round of the playoffs and finishing first because another team lost. Aside from that, Saginaw's Puck drop is 2:07, the final result of that game will be known before the second period of the Knights game starts

No doubt, you are right :thumbu:, but for me, it's not necessarily the measuring value, it's, just merely an example of the principal of a discussion
