Saginaw beat London 4-3 to win the Memorial Cup Everything about my prediction came true, unfortunately
It all started with a bad icing with a minute and half to play, losing 2 face-offs, couldn't clear the zone, tourney over.
I watch so many junior games, over 300 this season alone QMJHL- WHL- OHL- USHL- 3 college games-AHL-KHL- some European leagues juniors and pros-KHL and NHL. Regular season are fairly predictable. Play-offs are more complicated, but short tournament like the one game take all in Worl Junior and Memorial Cup Tourney, are all different can of worms. It gives me a fairly good look the level of each league to make fairly accurate predictions. You give Saginaw plenty of chances to beat London, they have learned how to play them for the final game, knowing how London approaches their game plan for the one game take all, makes it fairly easy to forecast an outcome. It was so sad that it keeps on coming back, does anyone here believes had London skated the way Saginaw skated in the first 2 periods London wouldn't have won this thing, they would have won it hands down against Saginaw
You all have a safe summer, we'll do it all over again next season, except win it all this time
