London won the reg season over Sag, beat them in the POs, won the round robin game but this game will sting I'm sure.

Can't look at it that way. Whole dynamic of the game changes if no penalty. Could have gone 1000 different directions.

Congratulations London on a well deserved OHL Championship and a heck of a showing at the Memorial Cup. In a one off game anyone can win. Best 2 teams from the OHL, and the bestern conference.

Saginaw was definitely the better team tonight. I still feel the Knights are a better team overall and they proved that in the playoffs. I wonder if a bit of fatigue played a factor. The knights never seemed to play to the level they played in the playoffs during this tournament. It really sucks that Saginaw wins this thing after having lost out in the playoffs…just feels wrong.

True. Anyways. Short tourney anything can and does happen. Not to take away from Saginaw, great team. Fitting it came down to final seconds of the game.

It all started with a bad icing with a minute and half to play, losing 2 face-offs, couldn't clear the zone, tourney over.

I watch so many junior games, over 300 this season alone QMJHL- WHL- OHL- USHL- 3 college games-AHL-KHL- some European leagues juniors and pros-KHL and NHL. Regular season are fairly predictable. Play-offs are more complicated, but short tournament like the one game take all in Worl Junior and Memorial Cup Tourney, are all different can of worms. It gives me a fairly good look the level of each league to make fairly accurate predictions.You give Saginaw plenty of chances to beat London, they have learned how to play them for the final game, knowing how London approaches their game plan for the one game take all, makes it fairly easy to forecast an outcome. It was so sad that it keeps on coming back, does anyone here believes had London skated the way Saginaw skated in the first 2 periods London wouldn't have won this thing, they would have won it hands down against Saginaw

This is a bad take on this. They have had a great year and are league champs. Losing 1 game in the extra tournament should not belittle their year .
