the guy he quoted, jordan malette, had the 1st overall pick as a second round draft pick this year.
why would anyone consider him reliable, hes just a kid on a laptop in ottawa.
to be fair he was pouting a bit because he thought he would be a top 5 pick and when the draft appeared no one thought he was worthy of it.
he went a touch lower then maybe he should have gone, but its not as bad as george, cowan and bonk.

Hot take: That's totally fine for him to do. More power to him.
Teams can call their bluff and hold them ransom. Make their preferred destination pay up. Or they can realize that that are several players of equal value at any given pick and still get a quality player. People that complain about kids calling their shots need to ask more of their teams scouting departments.
