Post-series thoughts:

I'll start with the Sting...Have to be proud of that team's effort, and the incredible support that they received from the community. Great fan base. HBs Sting fans have been incredible, Sting Updates, Ferda, DWheeeler, Robp, and the list goes on.

Now, the Knights....As I've said many times this season, I love this Knights team, their style of play (kudos to the coaching staff), their speed, their stingy D, their scoring that's spread out, and the goaltending. We didn't go "all in" at the deadline, but made smart trades, bringing in Winterton, Humphrey, and before that, Diaco.

If you're not very familiar with the Knights, and you're wondering how this London team made it to the OHL Final, I'll tell you...

This London team does NOT have one powerhouse line. NO superstars, but a good number of very skilled forwards (e.g. Diaco, Barkey, Cowan, Winterton, McGurn, etc...) with scoring from any line. The team is fast, very fast, tenacious forechecking, especially from "two yutes", Barkey and Cowan, and is opportunistic. The D-corps is one of the most talented, stingy that I've ever seen in London led by Bonk, George, Mailloux, Dickinson, Edward, and MacKinnon. Much of our success this season is due to the systems put in place by a knowledgeable coaching staff with a group of players capable of executing it. Those who haven't seen a lot of London were under the misguided impression that we cruised to the Western Conference Final because we faced two "inferior" opponents in the first two rounds. Those people will have a difficult time explaining how we beat a powerful Sarnia Sting team that went all-in at the deadline, and beat them in 6. I'm listening....

As for Bowen, I guess he can "toot his own horn"!

Hedon rating: 10/10

Regardless whos playing net tonight and the rest of this series the full London team has to show up to play if they want to move on. They can not have breaks in their play like they did in Sarnia. It's a full comlement of 20 players not just 12-14 players, everybody comes to play they will win even with Bowen in net. "Go Knights Go"
This old man here stated this on Friday morning before game 5

Great series, awesome coaching adjustments. Knights showed a fire in the belly, what you need to win in this league. Im proud of them, but there is still work to do.

Go Knights Go!!!!
a different goaltender can shake a teams chemistry too. They had to readapt to Bowens calls and style of play

I will say Bowen did step up his game. Rebound control still remains a problem but hopefully they figure it out before the Finals.

Secretly I’m hoping for Peterborough. North Bay is fast and physical and will pound you into submission. The definitively have the better goalie over there (if Brochu doesn’t play) and they definitely are more physical. Also, we get the home ice if Peterborough wins. If North Bay wins, I wouldn’t be surprised if they beat us. Goalies can as we know make or break your team in the playoffs.

I dont know which team I'd want to face. At the end of the day though, if they play the way they played today... I dont think it will matter what team we face

Yeah but they didnt play that way. Been watching NB games this playoffs before the Peterborough series. Different beast from what we've faced to date. No idea on Peterborough. Havent seen a minute of their games. Either way. Gonna be good!
