There's always next season. I just can't wait to hear what the excuse will be when we're at or near the top of the the conference and then when we don't add anything at the trade deadline.

This team now reminds me of when the Leafs were owned by the Teachers Pension Fund….winning wasn’t the priority. $$$$ were.

What stands out the most in this stat line...other than my poor copy and paste skills

Hope it's just because they missed practicing and playing at the Bud.

Damn penalty minutes stand out to me. Definately a factor in last nights loss.

Last 10 games show something changed in the room.

On a plus note the stats show,we are dynamite in extra time and shoot outs. Gotta find the silver linings where ya can.

Who to avoid? Do you think its going to make a difference? I would love to bounce the Rangers out, it would be a helluva series .

This team can not afford a night off let alone one shift off, their opponents goes for the big push and london back off theirs. Instead of matching the intensity they sit back on their heels on top their goalies leaving all kinds of time and room, no one rushing or pressuring puck carriers. If there is a push London must match that push with the same intensity, or they'll be on the wrong side of the scores even against lower teams. They do have a great team but must stop making it easy for their opponents winning games against them, needs to be on their game on every shift. IMHO Cheers!

Knights got eliminated 1st round, last season. This season, anything better than that, is an improvement. Consider the average age of this roster. Plenty of younger players, who are still learning, and are prone to making mistakes. That's where the veteran players have to provide leadership, and recently, it's missing.

When you are a veteran, you don't go taking a penalty late in the 3rd, when your team is trying to come back. Then, you compound the error, by lipping off to the referee, to get an additional 2 tacked on. It's negligence, and should warrant sitting out a game, to consider the implication of one's actions. Holding players accountable to the team has been a hallmark of how this team performs. Vets are held to a higher standard, because of their experience ( they should know better ). It also demonstrates to the younger players what will be expected of them, as they gain experience.

Sorry for the rant, but it's how I see the current situation.

careful what you wish for, I'd like a London /Kitchener series as well. I don't think it would be as easy as you Knight fans think LOL

If you go back and read posts from September you would see most felt this was not London's "year" . They had strong D but the forward group was light. you've seen this play out all year, struggling to score goals but able to keep the score close. This part is what you want in the playoffs.

The other " factor " is the Midwest is off this year with Erie, Kitchener, Owen Sound and Guelph outside of the top 4 in the conference. much easier for a team to lead that division. London is London so they will never be an easy out so enjoy.

I for one would like to see a certain Northern Ontario player who will be an over-ager traded in the off-season. Too many Cole Tymkin vibes.

The hardest part of playing hockey is playing without the puck, that is where games are lost. You need to push as hard defensively to get the puck back, cover your zone hard and pickup your man in your D-zone, to sit and wait for it to come to you will give you last night's result every time against a fast team.

Hopefully from a hockey standpoint this means a new all digital scoreboard to replace that out of date one we have. The one at The Aud is pretty amazing, and I would love an actual goal horn in the arena instead of that crappy MP3 recording that they use

After reading the article, it looks like back end ameneties and infrastructure in the loading areas. It has nothing to do with Knights game day operations.

As to game enjoyment...
It wouldnt cost to change the damn song, cant stand that crap. Should go back to the Blur song. But there is no reason on this earth for a horn.

Cremation does guarantee that you'll end up with a smokin' hot body. :D
Best Dad joke Ive heard today. 😁

Hopefully the City itself, won't be involved in any way with these renovation upgrades. If their performance on Dundas Place, East Lions Community Centre, and the King St. reconstruction are indicative of their construction prowess, they should stay at arm's length, and let the pros handle this. Otherwise, construction could commence in mid- November, and not get completed until the following December. The team might have to move to Lucan or Dorchester if the City is in charge.:ha:
