Sorry, you’re right. Teams will be lining up to give three 2nd round picks for MacKinnon. My mistake. Carry on.
If the post was read correctly, posters will notice that it state "McKinnon is very valuable to the Knights". It doesn't even place him in the top 4, it only state his "valuable experience on defense will be good on the team's third pairing" (that's 5th or 6th of of D rankings on the team).

At times some like to be sarcastic, that's all good with me, but to save some embarrassment at least read the post in its entirety before commenting. Cheers !

No thanks! George or Bonk over McKinnon
Not saying he's my (or most Knights fans) preferred pick for 'C', but have a feeling he will be the 'C' this season. Well respected in the dressing room and a quiet leader.

No chance brotha!

McCue, Bonk, Cowan, George, Dickinson are all easily ahead of him for the C
Just wait and see I guess ;)

Cowan is primed for a huge year. It’s interesting to me that he surpassed Barkey. Why do you think that is?
Any number of reasons why. It could be genetics ( every player is NOT exactly the same. Players who have had the benefit of being born to "athletic" parents can be predisposed to having athletic talent.) It could also be that one player is more committed to achieving a specific goal, and puts in more work toward achieving that goal. That off-season work gets reflected in their performance, and lack of the same, also shows up as a diminished performance level. Maybe one wants it more than the other ???

I think in the pros Cowen

will be one of the fastest players on his team
Top 6 forward
He will play on the pk
Gets in players faces

He can play throughout your lineup

I think it is his speed that separates he and Barcley

in the pro's I see Cowan being a Konecny clone really....still a way's away from that so lets just enjoy the show while we still have it in front of us.

Apologies for putting words in your mouth but I still disagree with the original point.

Cheers to you too.

Anyone making the trek to St. Thomas? If so it’ll be a great chance to likely see a very young lineup. Guessing not many of any of the guys will be returning from their camps. It’ll be a good opportunity for many young players to see if they can be on the roster
