It was either Shanny or the dual number retirement of Marsh and RamageTrivia question for you: Who was the last player from the pre-Hunter era to have their number retired ?
MitchIs Brett Brochu a candidate for the Don Brankley Hall of Fame or is he worthy of having his number retired?
Also: Who is the next Knight who should have his number retired? Bo? Mitch?
Good try, but it was actually Dino Ciccarelli. Notable particularly because at the time of the retirement ceremony, Dino was part of the ownership group of the Sarnia Sting. It was either Shanny or the dual number retirement of Marsh and Ramage

You are right I did consider Mailloux but his was interupted by the covid virus, many draft picks for two seasons were of the guessing patern, but ya, he was drafted wih less than half of a season in the O playing D. It will be a strugle for Mailloux to make it to NHL lineup, he was drafted for his offensive side of the D position but his defensive side will keep him in the miners for quite sometime. Bonk is not as offensively gifted as Mailloux but overall he's a much better all around defenseman and should not be as difficult for him making a NHL lineup after a year or two of miner league seasoning while Mailloux will likely follow Jared Tinordi's path to the big show. Only my opinion of course !Mailloux only played Junior B and would have played Knights before Habs took him.
Ed Jovanovski.Oliver Bonk was the 5th D picked in this year's draft, and that alone should speak volume for his personal achievement. Remember Bonk only played one full season as D in OHL as he was in junior B with St Thomas the previous year. I don't think I ever seen that before , playing one year D and picked in first round, seen it several times with forwards but not with defencemen . Congratulation to both Oliver and Easton on their great progressing season resulting with first round picks
