Only problem is..Kooy wasn't poor last night. He gave us a chance to stay in the game...Razor today..not so much

Last night...Kooy 43 saves many off the charts and kept us in the game

Today...Razor 21 saves...5 of the 6 that beat him were pretty weak

Botom line is 2 very poor team efforts the past 2 games..but if you were gonna hang a loss on a goaltending performance today is pretty much that game to do so

Yes. I'd agree that goaltending was weak today. But that is not the norm for Razor. Team did not play well in front of either goalie.

Again. Agree to disagree. Razor was not great today. Neither was Kooy last night.
But I can't agree with your Kooy comment...because it's false. You even said it yourself you have a jaded opinion of Kooy whenever he plays a game because in your opinion he's not a capable goalie. No matter how well he played you would find a hole in his play. That my friend..is a personal vendetta lacking any sense of a non-judgmental opinion

C'mon. Regulation road losses: Windsor, Owen Sound x2, Barrie, Saginaw, Soo.

There are clear issues that need to be fixed before the playoffs but this team still has CF potential.

I never said they didn't...just stating my observation that this team has not looked good on the road

So...is it too early to say this team is pedestrian on the road?

Hmmm.....personally this team has some work to do even with an awesome record at this point. They just seemed to be not to interested today which is not what you expect from a team with championship aspirations coming off a butt kicking? Not really sure what to say quite frankly other then the fact they have plenty of time to fix it, that is if they want to? As noted Home Ice will be huge as well so they have to find a way to keep a hold of 1st place.

Could someone compile our record vs each team this season?

It’s too bad a lot of good posters disappeared. It’s sad to read it. People need to stick to opinions and not flip flop every day.

In fairness JL17 the posters are matching to some degree the performance of the team. Can look awesome at times and then so disinterested at times? At least in my opinion but I also agree this is a tough forum perhaps only outdone by Windsor? Lol.....

This team is far to talented to lay eggs in Saginaw and the Soo two teams breathing down your neck in the standings. Come on boys have a good week of practice and get back at it next weekend with a team that should be beaten with a decent effort.

I made this observation earlier and I stick to it. We needed to bring in two forwards at trade time. Instead we brought in a Keane and Hancock. We have given up 3.5 goals since the NewYear and the PP is terrible. We let a PP specialist leave for nothing. Frost and Hayden could have been ours and we would be making a Mem Cup run for two years. We are 1-5 against legit teams since the New Years.

So our upcoming schedule is:
vs Guelph, vs Erie, @ Erie, @Miss, @PBO, Vs Ham, vs NB, vs Guelph, @ Kit, @Ham, @ Erie, vs Flint, vs Sag,@ Guelph, @SSM, @ Sag
my prediction is we go 10-4-1-1 the rest of the way to finish 2018-2019 regular season with 47 wins, 13 losses 6 OTL, 2 SOL and 100 points

Agree, we should have brought in two forwards.....and now the lack of confidence in our forwards is causing Hunter to play 3 defensemen on our power play, when we are only dressing 5 to begin with....makes no sense to me. Like I've said before, I think Mark dropped the ball at the trade deadline and this weekend Dale dropped the ball in his coaching decisions.

The defensemen are expected to play way too much, especially for a 3 in 2 1/2 days weekend. Come on Dale!

You don't have to agree. IMO Kooy is a more than capable backup, but thats it. And I'm sure half the people on this board would agree. I don't have a personal vendetta against him and I'm not trying to run him out of town. Just stating my opinion. If you think my opinion is jaded so be it.

Loved what coach Hunter did with 7 minuets left in the game pulled Ray makers for extra attaker then scored people around us were freaking out they could not believe he did that ,then did it again on the PP and almost worked again and then got him back on the ice while play was coming out of hounds end to stop the empty netter got to give him props for not just giving up he wanted to win this game
Difference in this game was goaltending Villalta played better than Raymakers it sure would be a great series if we can meet you guys in the playoffs

I'd almost rather Guelph considering how much your hounds have owned us
