Well, there are 17 defensive prospects listed below that are all ranked higher by the consensus here on this board. I’m not saying they are definitely better but at least in his tier.

Then you have to consider he will be competing with all the already NHL established 23 and under year olds who he will compete with the vast majority or entirety of his prime to be considered a top 10 d man. You can make that list on your own, but it at least includes Faber, Seider, Hughes and many more. I’m sure there are at least 10 or so there.

Hell he may even be competing with some yet to be drafted top end prospects in a good part of his prime.

Again, not saying he won’t do it but he has a shit ton of competition.
