It's hilarious listening to him talk about hockey, he's absolutely clueless about all aspects of the sport. He bases all of his opinions on assumptions and statements made by guys like Shannon and Cox, which is sad in itself.

I seriously doubt the 48 game season will just be a truncated version of the 82 game season, starting at whatever date the agreement is reached.

Corporate sponsorship - You know that really famous Saskatchewan company that can get behind the idea of spending a billion dollars on bringing a NHL team to Regina or Saskatoon? Encroaching on any/all of Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Winnipeg territories? Me neither.
Lack of NHL arena(s) or plans to build one in the near future
Lack of support or drive behind the idea (See: Quebec City fans invading arenas in the NHL a year ago)
No history of NHL teams such as in Winnipeg.

Kind of; i did notice 20 home games and 20 road games but that schedule shows 5 games vs the leafs and a few against the western conference so I doubt it's official.

the last time the NHL cancelled games it was through the 14th of Janruary. so they just cut those games off and left the rest of the schedule. there's only 40 games on that schedule aswell instead of 48 they will play.
