People mocking the feelings and disappointment of the players or saying good are being pretty trashy imo.

We all wanted better. We all demand better. End of the day though these are still human beings. Failing to achieve their goal by a fair margin and sitting on the precipice of most likely having their core taken apart to some extent.

Being a frustrated fan doesn’t mean you have to abandon all empathy to the struggles of the players.

Why could no one ask directly to John/Mitch.

If you are approached by the team to waive, would you consider that?

This, to be honest I cannot wait for him to be fired, but to have to get paraded out in front of the media and then get canned is a little cruel, could do without this. At least the media are throwing it right down the middle today thus far haha
Should we refer to these media softballs from now on as "Going full Manoa?" :)

These end of the year pressers are always the same.

Disappointed players giving cliche answers and a handful of fans losing their mind because their own feelings aren't being validated by the players.

If I'm someone who has covered this team full time all year, and some hero comes in with that question, I'm having words after that.

What a joke.

Who the hell is sitting at home today thinking "gee i wonder what matthews thinks of UTAH"

They do tend to ask pretty dumb and soft questions but I far from surprised the media wants to ask the one of the leagues biggest stars who grew up a fan of the coyotes about their relocation.

Disappointed splatters giving cliche answers and a handful of fans losing their mind because their own feelings aren't being validated by the players.
How much of this is down to the questions that are being asked of them?

Want to know 3 words that not a single reporter has uttered today, that absolutely should have been?

"No Movement Clause".

Insanity.

Certainly have seen our share of them. Yes, it does always go like this.

He got his contract for the next few years. He can work one final week

I loved Austons press conference . Winning is the priority. It does seem like he’s ready to take over as captain

Rielly’s presser so far has also been the most honest imo
I might be wrong but is this the first time AM post season presser said personal awards means nothing, and winning playoffs matters…

Also like the Reilly part, feel for him and he knows he is running out of time as a player.

Absolutely beside myself that someone wasted a question on asking Matthews his thoughts on the Coyotes.

Toronto media is so hard to play in front of, some say.

well i was Today years old when i realized the Coyotes were moving.

but why is it blowing your mind that they are are asking an Arizona born player who flat out stated it was that team that got him into hockey vs. staying into baseball his feelings about them being relocated. - that could have an impact on a future Auston Matthews who doesn't have that inspiration.

I'm personally not a fan of a CEO who has never worked in hockey to get involved with hockey operations. That's usually not a recipe for success.
I don't have an opinion either way. The only thing I do know, is that regardless of the model, it will be criticized without results.
