Galchenyuk is well-done right now, what a roasting
Not that Chucky deserves it, but he wasn't good. Every other player deserved a bit of a shellacking too but hopefully Chucky takes the good lessons out of it.

What did he say about radu?
Definitely wants to keep him, I feel like he's holding off till FA because that's what he said the agent wants.

I read somewhere that someone who is familiar with the situation says that Radulov's agent is a ball-buster and is gonna get the best contract he can. Not sure I'd give 54 point Radulov an open chequebook.

So, his centermen right now are

Danault (not a #1 according to MB, but he progressed well...)
Plekky (who got a very disapointing season)
McCarron (who is a center according to CJ and MB)
and.... Mitchell...

And it's up to Galchy to become a centerman or to contribute better fron a wing...

No one in the Minors at center position can crack this center line....

It's one of the other: MB is keeping his cards very close and will acquire a good center in the Summer.... OR he is clueless regarding center position... I hope it's the first option. CJ knows too well how important are centers, having had, Bergeron and Krecji for so long.

Engels: "Marc can you name a team that has won a cup without a number 1 center, like you said has happened before?"

MB: "Well, I mean, LA, you know they had Kopitar and Carter... And Chicago... well, actually, Toews is a number 1 center, yeah.

Ok, thanks everyone! Goodbye!"

This just in, Toews and Kopitar aren't number one centers!

It's pretty embarrassing that the media laughed when MB said the Habs had good young players in response to Tony's question.

Also, he admitted that right now there are 0 offensive centres in the farm to help the team next year...nice.

Galchenyuk did nothing wrong. It's all Bergevin's fault that he sucked.

We hired the second highest paid coach in the league. He says "ideally Galchenyuk is a centre"... our GM doesn't want the coach to try and develop him into a centre.

How do we have 0 offensive centers in the farm ready to make the jump when he's been here for 5 years? THAT is absolutely inexcusable.

Duchene and Tavares are two possible options.

Yes, I'm open to trading Sergachev.

And if they are indeed available, don't you think Bergevin has inquired about them? Do you have any information about the asking price? Do you have any reliable information at all? If not, then on what basis are you going to judge if a GM doesn't do enough to get them?

This just in, Toews and Kopitar aren't number one centers!

The best part is that he brought up Toews, then seemed to change his mind mid answer and said that, Toews is in fact a first line center.

And then he got up and left.

And Claude seemed to tell him "well that went pretty well!"

That man desperately needs some media training. Yikes!

He is GM in Montreal since 5 years, and he is as bad as his first presser.... Don't expect much... The guy cannot master either of our two official languages.

Mr. Molson should feel ashamed when he sees and hear MB meeting the medias.

Yeah, I'm a stark Bergevin hater around here, but I'm not sure where everyone is getting this "Chucky got so roasted. They just confimed they dont see him as a center. Hes going to be traded this summer" talk. Nothing that was said in that presser suggested any of those things.

Chucky wasn't very good after his injury. That's no secret. All things considered, id say everything said about him (including player interviews as well) suggests that Chucky is going nowhere.

I will reiterate: Chucky is not being traded this summer.

The same cannot be said for Beaulieu though. He was the one that got roasted.
