Kyle are you Grant's baby or something? Is DD3 the mother? You've been posting like a mad man..

I don't know what your talking about.. :sarcasm: If you look at my stats im only posting at about 6 posts per day

The birth of his child is not as special of a day as Burke getting fired today.

Not exact quote, but guess who said that pearl of wisdom.

DD03, what do you project Leivo as in the future?

All depends really. If he can continue to build strength and keep his foot speed, and as long as he continues to engage physically, he can really be a solid 3rd or 4th line guy who can produce offensively. He's got some size, and he's good offensively, but he'll need to adjust to being a checker because I don't think his offensive game is completely there. If he can adjust his style and still produce offensively, like 4th line players are going to need to be able to do as we go forward he should be okay. I'd say his max potential is a 2nd line player with good size. But his bottom potential, could be concussion problems and not being physically engaged or not embracing a role that would translate into the big leagues.

Really hope we don't trade Kadri and he plays with the Leafs all season, but I have a feeling if we do trade him he will go on a tear on his new team.

Me and my brother were saying the same thing. I think if we trade Bozak as part of a small Lou deal, Kadri should be given a chance on a daily basis. He's deserved it.

I see it similarly. He's an intriguing prospect, he has the tools to be a really, really good player. I'm not sure if he's physically engaged enough to be a fourth liner, but a third liner maybe. Seems that we have a ton of bottom six guys, but I'm a firm believer in having VERY high quality bottom six guys. I think they control and effect games just as much, if not more than the 1st or 2nd lines.

That's why I'm excited about players like Biggs, D'Amigo, Ashton (to a lesser degree). These guys play hard, physical, and with heart and determination. I hope Leivo pans out.

absolutely, I hope to see him playing this season, hopefully he will be 100% to go by then. I think he was injured right?

I'm not sure Kadri has it in him to really 'tear it up' or anything close. He might be a good player, but his style makes it so that he's either dominant or doing nothing.

I still like him, and don't want to trade him, but he's not going to be a superstar. Last year I was extremely disappointed, I saw no progression in his game, but this year I think he has really elevated his play.
