You know what always puts me to sleep...?

Speculate. It's not too tough to figure out. Now go do that and you'll fall asleep.

Turning off the computer is an alternate strategy.

I'm on my phone.

And **** it I'm gonna try ur solution I'm ****ing exhausted.
Peace

Sorry to hear about that Dangles? If you don't mind me asking but what happened?

Yeah sure, I posted it in one of the previous Leafs Lounges.

My dad delivers papers for the Toronto Star (so he's out from 2am to ~6am doing that every night). Sunday morning, he slipped on ice in the road and went down really hard. He couldn't get up, and couldn't really move his legs. He was laying in the middle of the street for fifteen minutes and no cars came by lol. So he finally managed to crawl to his car and he called me, so I went out there and finished up his papers for the night. We all figured it was just a hard fall, a bruise, and that he'd be fine.

Sunday night he was testing out his legs, trying to walk around the house slowly, and his legs gave out and he fell again. He ended up screaming in pain so we called an ambulence.

Turns out, he tore one quad, badly damaged his hamstring on his other leg, and may have wrecked his rotator cuff in his shoulder (X-ray came back clean, but they're doing an ultrasound tomorrow). So he had surgery on his quad on monday, and has been in the hospital since and they're not sure what they're gonna do with his shoulder/other leg (whether or not they should do surgery, and if they're going to, is now the right time). I doubt he'll be out for a few more days, at the very least.

Ohhhh haha

I have no idea. Just make another yahoo account!

I emailed one of the commishs to drop me and find another GM. Hope that works.

Sorry to hear your dad is still not doing well. They get any results from tests yet?

Edit read above; Ouch. that is going to take some rehab.

ouch man, that's just awful. I am so sorry to hear that man :( Hope he gets a swift recovery.

I definitely know what you mean it's hard to see your dad cry...i was holding my dad when he just survived from a car accident. When that was over with I had to go to other room in the hospital to check on my mom and sis to see if they were okay. He couldn't do things for a few days it was just getting to him, same with mom. Stay strong man, things will turn up.

Got surgery for a torn quad. Hamstring is perhaps about to tear in his other leg. Shoulder is uncertain so far.

Poor guy is in shambles lol

Don't want to impede but I gotta ask. Were the muscles already in rougher shape due to walking so much from the deliveries or was it all from the fall or do you have no idea?

Appreciate the kind words my man.

Glad to hear your dad's okay! Car accidents are crazy man. Sometimes I just think, when driving on the highway, like 'DAMN, I'm putting a lot of faith in people.' It's actually scary when you think about it.

That's what the doc actually thinks, it was just a gradual tear over time (my dad never said he had any pain before) but the fall just set everything off. Getting in and out of your car like 100+ times per night has to do a lot of damage to your knees, especially for a bigger guy like my dad (he's like 215 lbs).

Now that I think about it, holy crap lol. He's been doing papers for like 30 years. Getting in and out of the car every single night, probably actually like 250 times per night (I think he does 300+ papers, very spread out, so he drives from house to house for the most part), every day, for like 25 to 30 years. That's brutal.

I had a paper route as a kid, had about a 200 house route for 5 years. It was brutal especially in the wintertime around christmas haha

Kyle are you Grant's baby or something? Is DD3 the mother? You've been posting like a mad man..
