Damn, so do I trade:

The goalie making 7.5 mil a year who has won the vezina 4 years in a row
Or one of my two top forwards making 10 mil who've won the hart/ross/richard/smythe trophies the past 6 years.

why can't i keep them all :laugh:

I have this player, 20 years old and only 82 overall and they offersheeted him to a 7.8 year deal :laugh:

Guy has 5 star potential so I have to match it man :rant:

managed to get it under control, for one year at least :laugh:

this far into the gm mode though it's impossible to field a complete team because everyone's making 4 mil+, even the 4th liners :laugh:

i've basically been going prospect to prospect and keeping the best lol

one of the forwards. I was in the same problem as you! I had a 4.5 star 83 ov backup so I traded my mvp goalie, 2 years later trade that same backup+picks to get him back. Superstar goalies are so rare!
