 That's what I'm thinking too. All the cords are colour coordinated.

My buddy has them (they are awesome for the price btw) and the sub screwed up. Turns out the main power cord in the back had some bent prongs. I just stuck some scissors in there (after unplugging of course) and bent them back and the thing worked prime again.

Lol what do you mean? How do they not work?

I don't know dude, sound only comes out of the right speaker. I got ****ing nothing from the sub and the left.

The altec lansings he recommended like 20 LL'S AGO?

Yes, yes. Finally got around to buying them.

 That's what I'm thinking too. All the cords are colour coordinated.

That's why I told Terry to get them  They are pretty cheap and they work really good. I've dropped some of the speakers a few time, set them back up and they work fine. That's why I'm not sure they don't work for him unless he blew the speakers

What do you have them plugged into? It could be the settings on that.

Even though it looks like we're purposely "tanking" this year I'm kind of happy with that.

Besides possibly getting a high draft pick I'm actually confident with the team not trading good young prospect/picks for short term gain.

Even though Burke never really did that it's good to hear a gm flat out say it

I'm happy either way, because we're playing Kadri and the kids and not because we're tanking but because Carlyle is holding the players accountable... Contract status and years played don't mean ****.

But seeing our youngsters play it out finally will help them grow in the future. If we catch lightning in a bottle and make it to the playoffs, it's good because it shows what the youth can do going forward .. If we don't win, we get a solid draft pick and keep building

Win-win

Ok, Schenn was ****ing right. There's one ****ing prong in the main power cord that's just dickered.

This. If we finish anywhere from 12th-9th, I expect Nonis to trade up and grab the centre he likes the most. Even if it means Kadri + our first or Gardiner. We need MacKinnon or Barkov.

I like our forward lines .. Plenty of scoring depth but each line adds different elements

Lupul - Bozak - Kessel : A defensively responsible centre who has some vision and creativity; a bigger bodied power winger with some hands and a good shot, can work along the boards and open up the ice; an elite sniper and playmaker that is fast and dangerous anywhere, who likes to always have the puck on his stick

MacA - Grabo - Kule : A puck possession centre that plays with heart, good hands and can match up against teams best lines to shut them down while still being offensively potent; a good complimentary playmaking winger that can finish; a big bodied two-way winger that is great along the boards and can control the puck

JVR - Kadri - Komarov : A crafty superb playmaker with great vision and nasty hands who likes to throw the body around; a big bodied power winger that has great hands and the tools to become completely take over an offensive zone; a hard-nosed two way winger that likes to crash, bang, and piss off the other team with tenacious forecheck

All 3 lines have a defensively responsible player, good forecheckers, and some size

are those our confirmed lines or something?

I would like if Komarov made it just to see what he can do and I'm really happy Kadri's making it as a C, and yeah like what you said i'm glad were playing the kids

I like the 3rd line, they can produce offense, as well as crash and bang and Kadri and Komarov can piss off the other team and draw penalties ;)

I want Kadri to succeed to badly with the Leafs  I might get his number/name on my jersey

Last year I remember him setting up lots of quality chances but his linemates were what like Lombardi most of the time? With JVR on his wing I think he will succeed.

God, I hope to hell they can gel together and really start realizing their potential .. If there is one thing that I want to see out of this shortened season is that both of those guys start dominating the game like they were drafted for .. If they can produce well offensively and be decent defensively, then Grabo's line can be used as an amazing 3rd checking line that can score

I gotta say there is some offensive potential in the top 9 .. Kadri and JVR can each at least get 20 goals, Kessel could hit 40 if he stays with Lupul (who could hit 30 too) .. Grabo, Kule, and Mac are all 20-goal scorers .. Even Bozak's got an outside shot
