Yeah seems like, before the tournament even started, they had their minds made up that he's "past his prime" and "not having a great season." I thought he gave them a shot in the arm every time he touched the ice. Ditto for Bennett.

I thought Stone looked slow and was a non-factor.

Crosby really wasn’t very impressive in both games against Canada.

BTW the NHL brought in Zambonis for the 3 games in Boston and the ice was fine.

That is really good to see! Hockey needs to be way more popular in the US. I am biased, but hockey is the greatest sport in my eyes, so exciting and fast. For me, the others are like watching paint dry.

Canada had 6.3 million watching, which is only 15.75% of the population. That seems low for us since 2010 Olympics was 85%. It may have captured some Americans but it seems Canadians weren't quite so invested.

@Fenway . I thought the Garden was going to replace the ice resurface machines with the real Zambonis a few years ago but never did.
