I was in my bed when I saw the Lombardi deal last night. Was very surprised to see that we got basically a 3rd out of it. Gives me hope for the TDD. We may get a 1st for Mac

I really like the forward group heading into Saturday now!

JVR - Kadri - Frattin
Komorav - McClement/Steckel - Brown

There's a surprising amount of flexiblity in the bottom 3 lines .. And if Kule bounces back I think that second line will start going again

Also I think it shows the Leafs are ready to give Kadri a shot at centre

I think Steckel is used as an extra. McClement is good enough at face-offs, we should be fine.

I doubt Connolly makes it through. He may be overpaid but teams have cap space this year and he would make an excellent depth player. Not ideal for any line really but he is capable of playing pretty much anywhere in the top 9.
